When you know media like we do, the word gets out. With the ability to bring game-changing concepts and best practices to our clients’ technology environments, NTC has delivered numerous successful projects for industry-leading companies that demonstrate our knowledge and expertise on evolving media technologies, architectures, and operational workflows.
For more than a decade, NTC has provided services to AT&T, beginning with the design and installation of a national advertising insertion system for AT&T’s U-verse IPTV service. Other projects have included local and targeted ad insertion systems; automated systems for content processing and quality monitoring; and software systems for network and service monitoring and control. Our ongoing work includes consulting, design engineering, and sustaining engineering services for these and other AT&T Mobility & Entertainment initiatives. Several of NTC’s long-term clients, including CNN, HBO, Turner, and Warner Bros., have recently become part of AT&T.
Since 1997, NTC has been a trusted partner in the design and implementation of ultra-reliable program distribution facilities for DIRECTV. This work has encompassed DIRECTV’s Los Angeles Broadcast Center, including its original design and construction and ongoing technology evolution; the California Broadcast Center; and local collection facilities for spotbeam service in over 150 television markets. NTC’s relationship with DIRECTV continues under its ownership by AT&T.
NTC’s long-term relationship with The Walt Disney Company spans many decades. We have provided services to the Disney Media Networks, including the ABC Television Network, ABC Owned Television Stations, ABC News, ESPN, National Geographic, and the Disney Channel, and to the Disney Animation Studios and Parks divisions. NTC has designed and built television systems at Disney parks in Florida and Europe; the ESPN Digital Center in Bristol, Connecticut; and the Times Square Studio in New York, home of ABC’s Good Morning America. We have also provided consulting and systems development to support the WATCH ABC and WATCH Disney Channel apps.
For over 25 years, Fox has relied on NTC for design and construction of increasingly-sophisticated network production and origination facilities, including the original network center in 1994, the present Fox Network Center in Los Angeles, and projects at Fox Speed Channel in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Fox Network Center in Houston, and Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network in New York. NTC has also provided services for Fox Television Stations and for the 20th Century Fox studios. Our work continues with Fox Corporation and with Fox entities acquired by Disney.
